TFS Energy Voted the Commodities Now Energy Broker of the Year
NEW YORK, December 21, 2006 – TFS Energy, a leading interdealer broker and subsidiary of Compagnie Financière Tradition, today announced its results in Commodities Now’s and Environmental Finance’s 2006 broker rankings. In Commodities Now, TFS Energy was voted the prestigious ‘Energy Broker of the Year 2006’, a title earned in 2005, as well. In Environmental Finance, TFS was named the best broker in weather derivatives globally and best broker in four environmental products categories (NOx markets, New South Wales GHG abatement scheme, UK Renewable Energy Certificates, and Australasia Renewable Energy Certificates). TFS Energy was runner-up in US SO2 markets, EU-ETS, UK ETS, North American Renewable Energy Certificates, and European Renewable Energy Certificates, excluding the UK.
